Renting a Storage Unit

What type of storage do you offer?

We offer a variety of drive-up storage unit sizes to fit your needs. We also provide convenient outdoor storage spaces for vehicles, boats, RVs, and trailers—perfect for easy access and flexible use. If you're not sure what size you need, check the Storage Types page or call our support team.

How do I rent a storage unit?

You can rent a unit through the “Rent Storage” tab on our website. Select your unit type, enter your information, and sign electronically. It’s quick, secure, and paper-free. Our support team can also help you complete your rental by phone.

What can't I store in my storage unit?

We prohibit perishable food, strong odors, living plants or animals, and all hazardous or illegal materials (gases, flammables, explosives, etc.). Contact our team if you’re unsure about an item.

Are climate-controlled storage units available?

Some facilities offer climate-controlled units for sensitive belongings like electronics or antiques. Units with this feature are labeled “Climate-Controlled.” If you’re unsure, our support team can confirm availability.

Payments, Contracts, and Insurance

What documentation do I need?

You’ll need a valid government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license or passport, to rent a storage unit.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. Rentals are flexible month-to-month—you can cancel anytime through your online account or by contacting support.

How do I pay for my storage unit?

Payments can be made through your online account using a credit card, debit card, or ACH bank transfer. Billing is automatic each month to keep you on track.

Do I need insurance for my storage unit?

Yes. Customers must maintain insurance on stored property. You can enroll in our Tenant Protection plan during checkout if you don’t already have coverage.

Facility Features

Are your facilities fenced and gated?

Yes. Our properties are fenced and gated with secure access for customers and staff. Newly acquired sites may have upgrades pending.

Do your facilities have good lighting and cameras?

Yes. We utilize spotlights and surveillance cameras across the property. Upgrades are underway at any newly purchased facilities.

Are your facilities clean and modern?

Yes. We regularly maintain and update all facilities to ensure a clean, modern environment for every customer.

Do your facilities have an on-site manager?

We have traveling managers who visit facilities regularly for inspections and maintenance. If you need to meet with one, we’ll arrange it quickly.
